Elizabeth “Lizzy” Rader (Co-Assistant Director/Nurse)- is a senior at West Potomac and has appeared in many of West Po’s productions, most recently American Idiot.  She’s delighted to be back on stage and to be able to help Mark Adams as a co-assistant director for The Outsiders.  This is a frightening and realistic drama about the rivalries of two teenage gangs from different sides of the tracks.  This book made a real impression when I first read it in middle school.  It’s hard to believe S.E. Hinton was only 18 when her book was published, yet she understood and wrote about class conflict, prejudice, stereotyping, and violence.  I hope the show has as much meaning to the audience as it does for me.

Jonah has made a lot of close friends and had many great experiences through theatre. He hopes to maybe dabble in professional acting one day. Because of his cold and mean personality, he was cast as the character of Bob, one of the Socs (Villains), in The Outsiders.  He hopes you’ll enjoy the show!

Lorna Ryan (Cherry) is a sophomore and this is her sixth production with Beyond the Page Theatre Company. He hopes that you enjoy the show!
